I’m so sorry for your dashes but I realized that I hadn’t scanned and uploaded the large majority of my sketchbook! Whoops! Anyways, this is the large majority of what I’ve done. There’s maybe ten pages of stuff I’ve scanned already and twenty or so blank left in this book. So yeah, I absolutely realize this is massive and I honestly have no idea how it’s going to upload so… Yeah. Sorry for any repeats. Now to shower and head to my LCS for Free Comic Book Day!

The 117th division was highly trained, lavishly outfitted, and generally not to be messed with. They were also most mixed battalion in the entirety of the United Armed Forces. It’s often said they they scraped the bottom of the barrel but, in truth, the recruiters simply found another barrel entirely. Each member is hand chosen for some unique skill they exhibited, be it skills in combat or a penchant for infiltration and assassination. If someone is in the 117th, they belong there and may the powers grant their targets something better in the next life.
I don’t know, I’d been playing a lot of ME3 multiplayer when I started working on this one. I think it might even show a little bit.

Sarafina Felicitis hasn’t been a captain of her own vessel for very long but she plans to make a long (and hopefully profitable) career of it. She was inspired at a young age by vids of a similar captain’s exploits, only to find out that his weren’t real. Still, she’s determined to make her way in the ‘verse as a hand for hire and occasional pirate with her trust bot Wellington by her side. Just as soon as she finds a crew…
So yeah, this started out as just a random doodle and grew into something more developed as I went. Yes, the vids she watched as a child were Firefly/Serenity and she’s the only person in her universe who talks like that unironically. Mostly because I maybe accidentally genderbent Mal Reynolds. I had a very powerful urge to name her robot Wheatley because reasons. He’s essentially a glorified smartphone.

What can be written about Toni Stark that hasn’t already been tweeted? She’s a billionaire genius playboy philanthropist (her words) with enough guts and knowledge to see any project she puts effort behind to the very end. Take for instance the tale of her escape from insurgents (which can be seen in her many interviews afterwards), the change of Stark Industries from military juggernaut to peaceful science R&D (which can be read about on numerous blogs), or her exploits as the Iron Man and one of the Avengers (which can be read about exclusively on her own blog). Toni Stark does what she wants.
In short, I really really really wanted to genderbend the Avengers because yes but all that’s come out so far is Toni. I’m working on it and thinking about doing all of them in, like, runway fashions or something…

The legend of the Face Eater is relatively wide-spread, though often contained to low-lying swampy areas. In the American Southeast, it tells of a personage that is both man and woman, cursed by a witch for their vanity and arrogance. They are doomed to wander the swamps alone, carefully carving off the faces of their prey with their long fingernails to better draw in the next victim. The name comes from the bodies that are found, faceless and often with large hunks viciously ripped from the rest of their bodies. Some say that a new Face Eater is made each time a face is stolen.
This is in no way attempting to belittle or make fun of trans* persons. If I have offended you, please tell me. The “mix of man and woman” is meant to be a way for the face eater to entice prey physically attracted to either as it sees fit. Technically, it’s neither. There was just no way to include this in the flavor text without getting off track.

Wyverns are nothing without their wings. If they are rendered incapable of flight, they often fall into depressive states, no longer tending to themselves, barely eating, and hardly hiding themselves as the normally secretive creatures often do. They have been known to give up on covering any tracks, sleep near roads and frequented paths, and to move as close as possible to humans in the hopes of a swift death. Even a wyvern with a chance of healing has been known to exhibit these tendencies.

Okay, get ready for a huge dump of sketches. I’m now moved into my new apartment and I’ve got my work area mostly set up. I’m working on a dual screen setup but the basics are all here. More importantly, I have my scanner! So, here’s a few sketches I did of Rue once I finished reading The Hunger Games (and long before I saw the movie) and one of a very random girl, possibly a hacker doing a victory dance? She’s the only recent sketch I don’t have a story to go with so she’s lumped with Rue to save space and your dash. I’ve got five more coming that I’ll be uploading as I finishing typing backstories.

Oh, hey, I finally finished this! Based on a song that may or may not exist on Patrick Stump’s albumĀ Soul Punk. Pick it up on iTunes if you don’t have it already. Hopefully, I’ll be posting a bit more soon. We’ll see what I can come up with.
Non- photo blue and 2B pencil in sketchbook. Approximately 30 minutes.
Train sketch #2! Probably yet another nameless sister to my nameless demon prince. I’m thinking they’re more related by bond than anything. This one is very quick tempered and always it itching for a fight. Definitely one to smirk and say “you should see the other guy”.
